What is a Digital C-Type Print?

A Digital C-Type Print is a photographic print on the same kind of chromogenic paper that is traditionally used in color darkrooms. Instead of being exposed through a darkroom enlarger, it is exposed using LEDs or lasers from a digital image. As opposed to Giclée (inkjet) prints, which are made with layers of tiny ink drops, Digital C-Types use the same photographic chemical reaction as film to create an image on paper. The image quality is excellent, with no visible ink or pixels under magnification, and the archival quality ensures it will last.
