4x4" film mosaic constructed from 120 color negatives
scanned with a digital camera
This 4x4" constructed negative film mosaic was assembled from five pieces of color negative film. The central negative is a one-piece accidental triple-exposure of star trails on August 11th, 2024 and clouds on August 24th, 2024 made with a Perflekta V TLR camera. On either side are four negatives of flowering Rhododendron exposed on May 27th, 2024 with a Pentax 6x7 camera and 135mm macro lens. All exposures were made on 120 Kodak Gold 200 speed color negative film.
The film was cut up and reassembled over a light table to produce a 4x4" film mosaic, which was digitally scanned and color inverted.
