three 4x4" film mosaics constructed from 35mm color and 120 black and white negatives

These three 4x4" constructed negative film mosaics were assembled from three frames of 120 Kodak Tri-X 400 speed black and white negative film, captured with a Peerflekta V TLR camera, depicting tree bark in 2007, and two rolls of Fujifilm Superia 200 speed color negative film exposed in 2013 with a Nikon FM10 camera and 24mm lens at the Dubai Aquarium.

The film was cut up and reassembled over a light table to produce three 4x4" film mosaics, which were digitally scanned and color inverted.

Collection: constructed negatives
