4x4" film mosaic constructed from 35mm and 120 color negatives
scanned with a digital camera

This 4x4" constructed negative film mosaic was assembled from ten exposures of the setting sun in 2007 at Harkness Memorial State Park on 35mm Fujifilm Superia X-TRA 400 speed color negative film, and one 30 minute exposure of star trails that was taken on the summer solstice, June 20th, 2025 from the Saco River in New Hampshire on Kodak Portra 800 speed color negative film.

The film was cut up and reassembled over a light table to produce a 4x4" film mosaic, which was digitally scanned and color inverted.
